ELSTO offers IEC standardized aluminum pole-changing AC motors from AEG-Lafert. The AM series has a constant torque at both low and high revs. Ideal for a conveyor belt that can run at two different speeds.
The AMV series has a quadratic torque where the torque at low revs is four times lower than at higher revs. These motors are often used for fan or pump drives.
The speed ratio is always one to two with a Dahlander circuit, but differs with separate windings.
